AMENDMENT TO FIREARM USER LICENSE

The Commissioner of Police wishes to notify all holders of a firearm license, certificate and permit that the conditions subject to which such license, certificate and permit are held have been amended.

The following conditions now apply:

1. Every firearm imported into Grenada is subjected to be marked with an Import Marking to be inscribed by the appropriate authority (authority meaning the Commissioner of Police).

2. No Firearm User License will be issued for a firearm that is not marked with the said marking.

3 Effective immediately all Firearm License holders shall present their firearms and two rounds of ammunition to the Police Armourer, Fort George, St. Georges for inspection between 9:00 a.m and 3:00 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays or Fridays Inspection and Marking will also be held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays of each week (same time) as a prerequisite for renewal or first payment of fees.

4 A Certificate of Inspection shall be issued by the Police Amourer (Firearm Inspector) to be presented to the Inland Revenue Officer before payment of fees.

Failure to comply with the above notice will render a person liable under Section 35 (3) of the Firearm Act.

Refusal can result in the revocation of license.
