ENUMERATION NOTICE

The Parliamentary Elections Office gives notice that Enumeration of electors will be conducted throughout the state of Grenada from January 9th to July 8th 2012.

The process is required by law and is usually conducted every five years. Persons who will be enumerated and subsequently registered must meet the following qualification.

1. Be a citizen of Grenada; or

2. Be a Commonwealth citizen, who has resided in Grenada for a period of at least twelve months immediately before the date of his /her registration;

3. Has attained the age of 18 years.

It must be noted that a person could only be registered in ONE polling Division.

Qualified persons must present their official birth certificate or citizenship certificate in the case of Grenadian citizens OR a valid Grenada Passport.

Commonwealth citizens must present proof of minimum residency.

In addition to being required by law this is the process that will allow qualified persons to be registered to vote and to be issued a voters identification card.

The Parliamentary Elections office seeks the understanding and cooperation of all citizens as the enumerators visit your home.
