STUDENTS HIT BY BUS

Two Wesley College students are hospitalized after being hit by a bus on Tuesday. The incident occurred just around 3:00pm, close to the Green Bridge on the outskirts of the nation’s capital.

An eyewitness reported that she stopped to allow two students to cross using the pedestrian cross when two zone 8 buses sped pass with one hitting the two students. The buses then collided with each other.

The vehicles involved were HX73 and HW978 both plying the Happy Hill to St. George’s route.

There were no fatalities. However there were a couple casualties with one of the injured students sustaining a broken leg, while the other got hit on the rib but no one is really certain about the seriousness of the injuries.

Police are investigating the incident.
